Role Overview

You will join a backend-focused team responsible for designing and improving scalable APIs, data pipelines, and internal services. The work involves both feature development and owning existing components, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask).
• Design and implement REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize database queries and ensure high application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
• Write unit/integration tests and follow clean code principles.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams to ship features end-to-end.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong Python fundamentals and experience with at least one major framework (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with async Python, caching, queues, or background job processing.
• Familiarity with Docker and basic DevOps workflows.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of modules.
• Good English reading/writing skills; conversational level is enough for documentation and async communication.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
